Preventative Pet Care and Wellness A major focus of our hospital is preventative and wellness medicine. Many diseases can be prevented or diagnosed early with routine yearly or bi-annual examinations and vaccinations. We also offer thorough diagnostic evaluation for each pet with special wellness blood screenings.

Surgical Services
Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures. From orthopedics, to abdominal and thoracic surgery, to surgical dentistry, we can meet your pet's needs here.
CO2 Surgical Laser
Our CO2 surgical laser offers several advantages over conventional surgery in many procedures: decreased tissue trauma, decreased postoperative swelling, decreased bleeding, decreased pain, and sterilization of the surgical field.
Anesthesia
We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of security, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures. We are proud to be one of the only hospitals in our area offering Sevoflourane. This is the newest and safest inhalational anesthetic available.
Hospitalization
We know your pet will feel more at ease at home, but sometimes sick patients need services that can only be performed in the hospital. We strive to keep the length of the hospital stay as brief as possible. While in the hospital your pet will be in our general hospital ward. If there is concern of contagious disease, he/she will stay in our isolation ward. Our wards are quiet and comfortable with soft linens. Cats are kept in comfortable condos and ambulatory dogs are walked at least several times per day. A veterinary technician is assigned to monitor the condition of each patient, water and food needs, and to provide caring attention. Your pet's doctor will call you often to inform you of your pet's progress. Additionally, our veterinary technicians are available to answer any questions or concerns.
Internal medicine consults
We offer in-hospital referrals to an internal medicine specialist who performs ultrasounds and helps us with the diagnosis of more complicated cases.
Radiology Services: Digital Radiology
Our on-site, state- of - the - art Digital X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders. It also allows our doctors to see fine detail and subtle changes.
Ultrasound Evaluation We provide on - site ultrasound evaluation. Board Certified Radiologists can evaluate your pet's ultrasound examination, just as in a human hospital with our telemedicine capabilities.
Telemedicine
Telemedicine allows the doctor to capture an image and send it to a specialist for an outside opinion and analysis. This eliminates any delay in diagnosis, and allows us almost immediate access to specialists around the world. Normally, we can confer with these specialists within hours of sending images and difficult cases to them, allowing for expert opinions and faster treatment for your pet's illness.
Electrocardiography Services
We provide ECG services on-site as well as on- line consultations with cardiology specialists.
Dentistry: Digital Dental X Ray. Operative Dentistry including Root Canals
Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, dental X-rays, tooth extractions, endodontics, and oral surgery.
Laboratory
Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations. Our complete in-house laboratory gives us point-of-care diagnostic abilities when we're treating sick or injured pets, and allows us to properly evaluate every surgical case prior to anesthesia.
Pharmacy
We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. We also carry a full line of prescription diets. We offer HOME DELIVERY of most of our diets and products!
FlavoRx Flavored Medications
We offer flavoring in our pharmacy. We can take almost any medication, make it into a liquid form and add flavoring. Now you can avoid the struggle of medicating your pet. You can choose from many delicious flavors your pet will love.
Individualized Flea Control Programs
We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas in your house, in your yard and on your pet.
Dietary Counseling
We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.
Behavioral Counseling
We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression.
Boarding
We provide cat boarding as a service to our clients. All boarders receive personal attention from our caring staff. Pets may be dropped off and picked up during regular business hours Monday through Friday.
Bathing
Routine and therapeutic bathing services are available. We have a groomer here on staff for your convenience. We offer sedated grooming with doctor supervision when needed!
