Steven E. Epstein, DVM
Dr. Steven Epstein is a graduate of the Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. He practiced in New York City in multi-doctor settings, gastroenterology referral hospitals, and emergency and critical care centers. He served as an appointed officer of the NewYork Veterinary Medical Association, and was veterinarian at the Westminister Dog Show and at the Madison Square Garden Cat Show in 1991 and 1992. Dr Epstein is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Virginia Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association, and the Jefferson Area Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Epstein currently serves as the Veterinary Executive Board member of the Charlottesville Albemarle SPCA. He is an appointment member of the Veterinary Advisory Board of the Charlottesville SPCA. Dr. Epstein is also the Saint Annes Belfield School SPCA advisor. He also donates services to Saint Annes in caring for the school pets, as well as charity work with the Vegetarian Festival, and Animal Connections.
Dr. Epstein and his family currently have two dogs, four cats, two rabbits, one Russian Dwarf hamster, and three donkeys.

Dr. Brad DiCarlo received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and completed his veterinary training at the University of California, Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine. He has experience treating all companion animals, from dogs and cats to birds and reptiles. He is experienced in medical and surgical treatments as well as emergency and critical care. Dr. DiCarlo is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. DiCarlo’s practice philosophy is one of bringing compassion and understanding to his highly skilled medical and surgical care. He believes that helping his clients to understand all their options is the best way to ensure that his patients will receive the best course of treatment possible.
When not treating your animals, Dr. DiCarlo enjoys spending time at home with his wife, two children, and one (yes, only one) dog.
